In mid-January Microsoft announced that Microsoft 365 E3 licenses will have access to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Plan 1. The inclusions of the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Plan 1 into the Microsoft 365 E3 license suite will add new levels of security to E3 licensed organisations at no additional cost. Furthermore, it provides protection across all devices including macOS, Android and iOS enabling a cohesive security platform throughout your organisation. Protection to more devices helps to reduce risks and gaps in security, as multiple security vendors make it difficult to provide end to end protection.
